KGPC Interviews: Justin Tipping

Justin Tipping is the director of the new feature film Kicks, in which 15-year-old Brandon goes on an ill advised mission across the Bay Area to retrieve his stollen sneakers. The film is an entertaining and sobering look at the realities of inner city life, the concept of manhood, and the fetishization of sneaker culture. 

Tipping will be at Oakland's Grand Lake Theater for Q&A sessions at the 7:30pm and 10:00pm showings of Kicks on September 9th, opening night!
