Dear Friends of the Regional Parks,
Happy Lunar New Year of the Tiger! We hope that you’ve started the 2022 Trails Challenge – enjoying the 20 featured trails!
This month, we are celebrating Black History with many special programs from Untold Stories to Meeting our Black Conservationists to Pan African dance.
Join us tomorrow for the first of four Virtual Fitness classes honoring Black History:
Thu 2/3, 5pm: Zumba & Line Dancing with Carah.
You will also hear from our staff about the vision and advocacy of our former board member Whitney Dotson who fought – alongside his family and community at Parchester Village – for preservation and restoration of the Dotson Family Marsh at Pt. Pinole Regional Shoreline in Richmond. The site is now a thriving wetland with rich biodiversity contributing to community and environmental health.
Register here for the virtual Fitness classes.
These free classes are sponsored by the Regional Parks Foundation and EBRPD.
