VIRTUAL EVENT - AN INTRODUCTION TO CULTURE BASED TRANSFORMATIVE COACHING

This Region 9 National Minority Health Month Virtual event is a 2-hour interactive presentation and workshop highlighting the Culture Based Transformative Coaching (CBTC) model.  Village Connect, a Community-Based Organization located in San Leandro, CA embeds CBTC in all its programs. The model has been found to be an effective strategy to improve the health behaviors of program participants. Webinar participants will acquire a fundamental understanding of how to employ a community-based interdisciplinary approach to effectively transform the individual, family and community. The presentation will include two short breakout sessions in which participants will have an opportunity to experience components of the coaching model. 

PRESENTER: Gaylon Logan, Jr. is a thought leader, founder/CEO of award-winning non-profit, organizational development consultant, highly effective workshop and seminar facilitator, conflict resolution & master CBTC coach, and local/national motivational speaker who delivers profound perspectives on shifting culture, fatherhood, motivating youth and families of color towards success, and effective relationships.
