Want to create a show with us in 2018?

We thought we'd take this opportunity to re-introduce ourselves, and let you know how to pitch us a show in 2018!
KGPC is a low power radio station for the East Bay community, broadcasting from the Peralta Colleges. We're streaming on the internet 24/7, and we're on 96.9 FM from 7pm - 7am. All of our shows are very different. There is no common theme except that they are produced by people like you. Folks from all over the East Bay are welcome to pitch shows to us, but Peralta students and faculty are especially encouraged. You do not have to have any radio or podcast experience to pitch a show. We're located walking distance from Lake Merritt BART.

KGPC Show Pitch Questions:
- Tell us about yourself! What's your background?
- What kind of show are you interested in doing? A live music or talk show? Any theme or genre? Or maybe you're interested in some sort of a not-live, more podcast-esk show?
- What language(s)?
- How do you imagine promoting your show?
- Is your show filling a niche that you think KGPC is missing? Or maybe you imagine it going nicely alongside another show we have?
- Any info that just helps us get a general idea of what you want your show to be.
All KGPC shows are produced by volunteers, but the station does not make any profit from the shows. Station volunteers get access to mentorship, equipment, the recording studio, audio hosting, and fun software.
